Scriptures: Gal. 5:1 NLT
• Under the New Covenant, fasting is not to get God to change His mind about something.
• You don't need to fast to obtain favour or receive mercy, because through Jesus you live in a continual state of mercy.
• Under the Old Covenant, the entire mindset was to "do in order to become". But under the New Covenant, the operating principle is "you already are, therefore act like it"

Prayer Points

Prayer 1 - . Father by the power of the Holy Spirit, baptize every member of Joy Overflow Int’l church Calgary and worldwide, afresh with the Spirit of holiness and the Spirit of the fear of the Lord in 2024, so that we can obey and serve You like we have never done before, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer 2 - Father, in the name of Jesus, because you are the God that desires Holiness and righteousness, we hereby consecrate ourselves afresh unto You, we surrender ourselves as a living sacrifice upon Your Holy altar, purge us from every sin that easily besets us, so that we can stand before You without blemish and uncondemned in Jesus’ name
