EZStart ASY-368-X48-BLUE Isolated From Heat Pump. It wouldn't fire the heat pump. Switches? Part 1

I have a Bryant newer system that I think already limits the amp draw but the EZStart does kick it down even more on A/C as I tested it and ran it all last summer. 30 amps to 16 amps and I'll take that to keep the power bill down from super amp pull billing. A few weeks ago I hooked up the EZStart in the middle of winter as I was told it would work on the heat pump too but it didn't. I had to go back to original wiring and the heat came back on. The blower motor worked but the compressor would not come on. Best you check your system maker to make sure you don't void any warranty if you use and hard or soft start system. I have decided to make a switching system to cut the EZStart off for heat and only use EZStart on A/C only. What does QR mean? You may find the sticker on the front of the EZStart hides the red warning lamp so best to move that. I got a 7 flashing warning lamp and that may mean the HERM wire isn't connected but also may mean something else is wrong. Best to follow the compressor wires for the white and black wire hook ups of the EZStart.

Please only do what I do at your own risk.

I have some informaion on Odysee too if you'd like to check that out and I also post these on Rumble.
