Where were you? only one phone call was needed to make everyone escape

No matter in which theory we'll choose to believe, there's a fact that no one can argue with: the army & intelligence knew starting 2AM, one phone call to the villages near by to make them take their cars - and leave.
Remember, Hamas came with a predefined list, they knew exactly to where they are going and who they are shooting / kidnapping. only one phone call could avoid all of this.
