Now if you want to come over here and you want to become a permanent resident or at least have a annual visa like a O visa or OA visa or Business visa. Some of these visas require that you have a bank account. And it also requires proof of income. Now you can use that proof of income from retirement, pensions, benefits, monthly income that's coming in. Or what some people do is they have to put money in the account.
