Central Michigan University is about to take a huge step in helping to positively impact the culture and climate for women students and staff alike.
Earlier in 2023 CMU secured the esteemed National Science Foundation ADVANCE Adaptation award, resulting in a grant amounting to nearly $1 Million over three years.
The idea is to move forward the representation and advancement of women faculty and students in the subjects of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
Bias interruption, transparent policies, and enhanced recruitment practices are the three main focal points moving forward.
