Like Truman we wonder if it’s real or just a dream/nightmare ?

The fictional world of outlandish soaps can now seem less far-fetched than unambitious. Any old school person who can still remembers 2019 and can still feel themselves back there cannot but be struck by the dream/nightmare like quality of life in the years since. The unbelievable has become common place, the improbable unremarkable and the uncertain ubiquitous. Like Truman we wonder if it’s real, we prod and poke at it to see what it does and we focus in and out on things near to us and far away to see if we can find the edge of the curtain and pull it back. I’ll see you in your dreams; or are they?
