The US Defense Intelligence Agency has said that Israel would have "difficulty succeeding" in a two-front war against both Hamas and Hezbollah. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has threatened to attack the Lebanon-based Hezbollah group if it continues shelling Israel's northern border. Israel killed a senior Hezbollah leader today in an airstrike. Israel's allies, the US & the EU are desperately trying to calm tensions in the region and prevent the war from spreading.
