What if China, who I'm sure knew this because Gen. Milley would have told them, had taken this opportunity to invade Taiwan? What if Putin had blocked all oil and natural gas to Western Europe demanding they stop funding Ukraine? What if the "Hooties" sank a few of our Navy ships? What if Iran nuked Israel? Get the picture?
