Biden gets a free ride for his last year in office and any meaningful fiscal cuts presumably won't come until a Republican returns to the presidency? Start the slow drip of deep fiscal cuts now so both political parties share some blame (I know Dems won't see it that way though) and the GOP doesn't totally crash and burn in 2025 and beyond.
