Amanda, a 42-year-old from Inverkip, Scotland, found herself in the grim confines of HMP Greenock, alongside Alex Stewart, a 34-year-old murderer, and Laura Miller, a 30-year-old convicted of sexual assault. Neither Stewart nor Miller had undergone gender transition surgery or hormone treatment.
