Jody, What about land that your family was given when you immigrated- do you own it or is it " leased"? My inlaws family was given farmland in Renfrew County mid 1800's, we still own the farm property that they settled. It isn't in tenants in common or joint tenancy- it's another term that predates this . It basically goes or is transferred to any living next of kin. Our Lawyer wasn't even sure of the term - REMR. Jody, Chris - salutations. I think you should watch the video I recently uploaded as it addresses and expands on many of the topics you are covering with Chad. I would value any feedback you have regarding the efficacy of my proposals, how we could refine them, or how to popularize the ideas - firstly, independence from the Crown and secondly, "Political Liability" - or the enforcement of political representation by way of contracts with voters. Obviously a video will explain it better than I can here, so I made one. Just to start. I'm sure I'm on to something here.
