Winter Freeze Up - Ep. 10 January 8, 2024 (Featuring Turd Island!)

Negligible ice growth overnight. The change to tomorrow's video should be pretty drastic if it starts to snow in the morning. The lake will slush up under the weight and then, from Friday onward there's colder temperatures forecast with lots of snow. I'm pretty certain that the club (HCSA) will be able to stake Head Lake and open some trails especially the B103 rail line, shortly after next weekend.
