Did Merrick Garland Lie to Congress? Law Making by Policy Memo and Executive Order.

In December 2022, a week before Christmas when few were paying attention, and in the midst of the greatest drug crisis this country has ever known, Merrick Garland, the Attorney General of the United States released a memo titled, "Additional Department Policies Regarding Charging, Pleas and Sentencing in Drug Cases."

In this memo, he instructed prosecutors to do everything short of lying to avoid charging offenses with a minimum mandatory prison sentence.
