How will the Spot ETFs change the roads to Bitcoin? [Bitcoin rises past $46k] 🪙🤔

Final ETF S1's were filed and submitted to the SEC earlier this morning. SEC has no further questions or comments on the last filing, which is a good sign they will be approved. Just consider that Sen. Warren, in cahoots with the Bankers who control the US, want to outlaw P2P & Self Custody, and the SEC says purchasers of the ETFs can ONLY cash them out in Fiat, not Bitcoin. This is a nod to confiscation if the US runs into financial trouble in the future.

Considering Coinbase will be the custodian of most the BTC purchased for the ETFs, they have effectively created a Honeypot and a centralized attack vector. All they need to do is go after Coinbase and freeze their assets and BOOM you lost access to the Bitcoin you have stored there.

I may sound like a broken record, but ALWAYS take Self Custody of your Bitcoin! ALWAYS! "Not your keys, not your Bitcoin". Buy a Cold Storage device like a Blockstream Jade, Coldcard, or a Trezor and pull ALL your BTC off the Exchanges to prevent your assets from ever being frozen or confiscated. The Government and Bankers are already telling you this is what they plan to do. It might not be this year, or the next, or the next, but it can (and maybe will) happen, eventually. Take precautions, Self Custody your Bitcoin!

In this video, I discuss the mechanisms behind ETFs ("exchange-traded funds") and how those mechanisms ensure that the BlackRock and other spot Bitcoin ETFs will be forced to purchase real BTC in order to back their investment products. This will, in turn, I believe massively pump the price of BTC in 2024 and beyond.

Not only is there a global arbitrage for the price of Bitcoin, but there will also be an arbitrage between the price of real BTC and the Bitcoin spot ETFs, which will ensure that these products continue to track the gross price performance of BTC.

At some point, the US government, BlackRock, Coinbase, and other custodians may go rogue and confiscate the BTC backing the ETFs-- but not for a few years. The first step is to allow the Wall Street pigs to feed at the trough for a few years.

That being said, buy real BTC if you can, not the Bitcoin IOUs that the spot ETFs are. That way, you will be able to benefit from BTC's superior qualities of censorship-resistance and debasement-resistance, while avoiding getting rugged along with other Bitcoin ETF holders.
