Russian paratroopers occupied a Ukrainian stronghold north-west of Artyomovsk

As part of the conduct of active combat operations in the Artyomovsk direction north-west of the city, units of the Airborne Forces continue to improve the situation along the front edge of the line of combat contact in areas in their zone of responsibility, occupying new strongholds of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

During one of the battles near this settlement, assault groups of paratroopers, from different directions, came close to the enemy stronghold and began to assault it. The enemy offered resistance, but it was suppressed, thanks to the courage, bravery and fearlessness of the ‘winged infantry’ warriors. The paratroopers carried out a diversionary maneuver, forcing the enemy to switch their attention to some of the attackers, while other attackers bombarded the dugout in which Ukrainian militants were hiding with hand fragmentation grenades and eliminated the Ukrainian Armed Forces infantry, thereby completing the combat mission of occupying an enemy stronghold in the forest belt.

With bold and confident actions, Russian paratroopers occupied a new stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, destroying up to a squad of enemy infantry there.
