Farmer Protests Overtake the Streets of Germany

More than 2,000 tractors have overtaken the streets of Erfurt, Germany, in protest of government cuts to agriculture.

Farmers say:

"The government needs to understand that we are the backbone of the country's food security. If they continue to ignore our demands, the consequences will be severe for everyone."
