Teaching your dogs a few tricks is always a good idea. You start by teaching them some basic commands, like ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘heel’. These will make sure that your pet always knows the hierarchy in the pack that is your family, keeping you calm and itself safe.

While there are dog breeds out there who would love nothing more than to show off for their audience, performing tricks like genuine pros, there are those who need a little bit of encouragement. What better way to help your pup do her tricks, than letting her human sibling do the tricks along!

Lulu the Springer Spaniel loves playing with the kids. She'll do anything for treats! Watch as she does “lie down” and “sit” in perfect cue with her human brother and sister, who were there to encourage sweet Lulu in performing her tricks for the camera. All three perform the tricks simultaneously and in perfect sync, which kinda makes us wonder: are these tricks meant for just the dog, or for the kids as well? Just kidding! No stage fright here!

The typical English Springer Spaniel is friendly, eager to please, quick to learn, and willing to obey. usually do well with children if they are brought up with them from puppyhood.

Springers need early socialization and training. Like any dog, they can become timid if they are not properly socialized — exposed to many different people, sights, sounds, and experiences — when they're young.
