Israel says Hezbollah struck sensitive air traffic base, warns of ‘another war’

Hezbollah targeted an air traffic control base in northern Israel, as confirmed by the Israeli military on Sunday.

They issued a warning of a potential escalation into “another war” with the Iran-backed group.

The attack occurred amidst increased hostilities along the Lebanon-Israel border, coinciding with Israel’s conflict with Hamas in Gaza.

The air traffic control base on Mount Meron was hit on Saturday, but no soldiers were injured, and the damage is set to be repaired.

This marked one of Hezbollah’s most significant attacks during the ongoing months of conflict related to Israel’s operations in Gaza, prompting evacuations of Israeli communities near the Lebanese border, WPDE 15 reported.
