Senatorial Governance : History of Roman Republic
5 months ago
3
Think of the Roman Republic like a big club where people could be members and have a say in making decisions. The senators were like the leaders or managers of this club. They made rules, discussed important stuff, and ran things.
Senatorial governance in the history of the Roman Republic means that these senators had a lot of power in how the club (the Republic) was run. They made laws, managed the money, and had a big influence on what happened in Rome. So, basically, they were the key decision-makers in ancient Rome.
