Families lose everything in three-alarm apartment fire

Residents of an east Kansas City apartment building are without a home or any possessions after a three-alarm fire tore through their building Wednesday. Earlier in the month, they had been displaced due to an electrical fire, and their landlord was putting them up in a hotel. They had not yet been allowed back in the building to retrieve their possessions.
