When you don’t know whether you will survive until the morning, there is no point in buying barbecue equipment. The meat is fried thanks to what nature provides. Four bricks and one gypsum block and three stainless steel skewers. This is all the equipment.

Heat source: 10 pounds of fruit wood (cherry, apple). In 30 minutes, this firewood burned and produced a mountain of hot coals.

Then I placed over the smoldering coals 2.2 pounds of pork that we had marinated 6 hours earlier.

Rotated the skewers every minute. Half an hour later the kebab was ready. My wife said that I dried out the meat. The meat had no juice. It was too dry. Perhaps it should have been fried for 20 minutes. But maybe I bought bad meat. There was little fat in the meat. But there was no choice in the store. I bought what I had.
