KULTURE #6 With the Victorian Artist Lynda Horsborough

The "portrait of shame " was winner of the major prize for Gippsland. It was a parody of the people around me. Shameful people are obedient. I did not hold back on confronting images when I exhibited on Phillip Island for 3 years . I really have never held back ever. I had one or two curators who were willing to put my paintings forward which helped. I knew in my heart they would come out of the woodwork because we are all not of the same ilk and art touches so deeply. I guess I haven't lost faith in humanity just yet. "

Ben Antoniadis records his music on a second hand apple 8. He often writes a song a day.

We think his poetry and music have great depth and heart, and the ability to help in the healing.

We want to see if your art can help us make sense of our new world, help us find who we are now as Australian’s and where we are going.

We believe that the tsunami of Covid washed away our country’s identity, and now we are searching through the rubble for who we are, for we also believe, that upon our new identity, a deeper, more resilient and nourishing Kulture will blossom.

So spread the word. CLO is after new Songs, poems, art, including AI art and Memes, short films, novels etc, etc.
