Railfanning Metro North, Amtrak & CSX with friends! Featuring Scarborough Station & Blauvelt

Recorded on 1/6/24. We kicked off the 2024 railfanning season by doing another meetup with Adam and Mason! This time, William, my Dad and Big Butt Bear came along for this next trip. This was well worth the trip since I wasn't able to meetup with Adam (Garden State Railfan) in 2023. We did a majority of the railfanning at Scarborough which always has reliable train action. Saturday mornings are actually quite busy on the Hudson line! Particulary between Croton-Harmon and Grand Central. The super express used to operate in the evening, but now it runs in the morning. I think I would try to do another Saturday morning again. Afterwards, Adam and Mason lead us to Blauvelt to see some freight trains. We did manage to see one while we went out there. It was a great way to kickoff the 2024 railfanning season! Enjoy!
