Rifle and Pistol Pairings part 7- Underwood M1 Carbine and S&W Military and Police .38 special

The M1 Carbine was used by rear echelon troops in place of the 1911 for a light weapon that could reach out to longer distances. Because the 1911 was not the sidearm for these troops, the closest thing I could figure for a sidearm that I also had was my 1927 Smith and Wesson Military and police (hand ejector) 38 special.

This particular S&W was a police trade-in.
