Winter Freeze Up - Ep. 8 January 6, 2024

Progress! The ice grew 1/2 inch overnight to 5 inches at the site of my test holes. It's about 8 feet deep. There is a current in the lake so that thickness won't be uniform. We'll get a couple more days of ice increase and then it's going to warm up to snow on Tuesday. With the snow that's coming, the snowmobile club may start grooming the rail line B103 by next weekend.
