The 2000 U.S. Senator candidates' debates in Minnesota featured David Swan of the Constitution Party; James Gibson of the Independence Party, Mark Dayton of the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party and incumbent U.S. Senator Rod Grams of the Republican Party. Moderated by Don Shelby, with questions posed by call-in and live audience members of WCCO-TV (Channel 4 News), it took place on October 26, 2000, at The Blake School in Hopkins, MN.
