In short, the Legend of Lake Toba tells the story of a young man named Toba, who married a beautiful girl who was the incarnation of a fish, on the condition that he not tell anyone about the woman's origins. Long story short, they were blessed with a child named Samosir. One day, while working in the fields, Samosir was asked by his mother to bring lunch to his father in the garden. However, Samosir felt hungry and ate the rice he brought. When he arrived at the garden, the father was angry because his only son had eaten his rice. In the midst of his anger, Toba uttered this taboo sentence, saying that Toba was a baby fish.
