Filmed on 10-15-2017 Nellis Air Force Base Area 2, once known a Lake Meade Base. It's a separate facility about 1 mile northeast of the main Nellis AFB. Nellis AFB sits at the most northern end of Las Vegas, Nevada. Though you can clearly see Las Vegas from Area 2.

Area 2 is a munitions storage facility broken into base A, and Base B. Base A is used as a conventional weapons storage facility for the Nevada Test Site. Area B was used to store non-conventional weapons such as nuclear warheads. Reports claim that there was 200 nuclear warheads stored at Area 2, but soldiers stationed there say it was much more then reported.

Area 2 also has support buildings, and a federal minimum security prison on the south end of the property. A couple of the support buildings are built over massive shafts dug into the ground that lead to many tunnels. In case of a nuclear war they would move the warheads by tunnel into nearby Sunrise Mountain.

The tunnel system at Area 2 is very extensive covering all of Sunrise Mountain, but also covers many miles in the Las Vegas Valley. There are many areas in the Las Vegas Valley where the tunnels come up to the surface, but nobody notices the areas. North Las Vegas Airport is about 25 miles away from Area 2, and there both connected by the tunnels. I could not get confirmation on the tunnels connecting with Area 51. Though a building in Las Vegas that is part of Area 51 the tunnels do go to that test facility in Las Vegas.

Area 2 is protected by 3 20' fences. The first fence has 16" bob wire on top, and the the second fence has 25,00 volts running through it. The fence is so charged with electricity that if a person got within 4 feet of the fence it would pull you in. The third fence has a special material covering it, and if someone tried cutting it. The material would wrap the person up in the special material.
