Invisible Ghost (1941)

Directed by Joseph H. Lewis. The story follows Charles Kessler, a man whose wife disappeared years ago. Unbeknownst to Kessler, his wife is actually alive but has been hidden away in their home's cellar after a traumatic incident. When hypnotic triggers cause Kessler to unknowingly transform into a homicidal maniac, a series of murders occur in the vicinity.
