Exploring Union - Everspace 2 Episode 4 - Lunch Stream and Chill

Previously, on Lunch Stream and Chill

The Frozen Doctor, Delia, subdued both Dax and Adam. After hearing our story, she agreed to join us. Her condition: we help her escape the DMZ and her contract with the mining company G&B. It's fortunate we had her. Ben's injuries were more serious than we knew. Delia had to amputate and heavily modify his body to heal him.

Adam was able to scrap together enough credits to buy a new ship.

Near the ruins Pelaemon's Wound, a destroyed planet, Dax and Adam battled the Bloodstar leader "Gasmask" and more of Adam's visions, before finding a partially functional HIVE unit, the AI that will allow us to leave Ceto. Using the HIVE, we opened the gate to the Union system, but before we could enter another Adam Roslin, wearing G&B colors, stopped us.

Evil Adam wanted Dax alive, but we fought back. Dax was slain. Before he died, he told Adam to bring his body back to base. Evil Adam left for Union, leaving us behind in Ceto to clean up the mess.

Ben woke just as we arrived with Dax's body, and stepped up to repair our broken HIVE unit. We found a microchip in Dax's body that contained half of a code for his big job. We now have what we need to finally leave the Ceto system.

What awaits us in Union?
If we can find Dax's partner, will he trust us, and can we trust him?
