Russia keeps promises and free grain will ensure food security in Africa – Envoy to Eritrea
1 year ago
14.7K
A Russian grain ship has arrived at an Eritrean port with 25,000 tonnes of free grain. Last July, Vladimir Putin promised to send six African countries up to 50,000 tonnes of grain, and the first two shipments arrived in Somalia and Burkina Faso in December.
Russia's ambassador to Eritrea received the delivery at the port, saying the supply will help ensure the country's food security.
