South Korea has launched a new digital nomad visa that grants access to the country for 2 years --one year, then extend for a second.

If you're in South Korea, digital nomads who already have an existing visa can switch from the visa exemption (B-1), tourist visa (B-2) or short-term stay visa (C-3).

South Korea's Digital Nomad Visa Requirements:

- You made $66,000 USD in the 2023 calendar year
- You're 18 years old and above
- You've been in the same industry for at least a year
- You work remotely --no taking jobs away from South Koreans
- You have approximately $100k health insurance coverage
