Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 101 (Arabic Recitation): “ وَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمۡ رَسُولٞ مِّنۡ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ مُصَدِّقٞ لِّمَا مَعَهُمۡ نَبَذَ فَرِيقٞ مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ كِتَٰبَ ٱللَّهِ وَرَآءَ ظُهُورِهِمۡ كَأَنَّهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ ”

Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 101 (English Translation): “ And when a messenger from Allāh came to them confirming that which was with them, a party of those who had been given the Scripture threw the Scripture of Allāh [i.e., the Torah] behind their backs as if they did not know [what it contained]. ”

Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayat 101 (Urdu Translation): “ جب کبھی ان کے پاس اللہ کا کوئی رسول ان کی کتاب کی تصدیق کرنے واﻻ آیا، ان اہل کتاب کے ایک فرقہ نے اللہ کی کتاب کو اس طرح پیٹھ پیچھے ڈال دیا، گویا جانتے ہی نہ تھے۔ ”
