Creature From The Haunted Sea (1961)

Directed by Roger Corman. Set in the aftermath of the Cuban Revolution, the film follows a group of criminals who plan to steal Cuban treasury gold. To cover their tracks, they create a hoax about a sea monster terrorizing the locals. However, an actual monster—a goofy-looking, rubber-suited creature—emerges from the sea, complicating their plans.
