Cullen was criminally charged with Common Nuisance for speaking at a protest in 2021. Due to circumstances Cullen could not file for an 11B and was forced to go to trial.

Cullen spent several grueling days in trial defending his innocence against this criminal charge doing self-representation and today he was found NOT GUILTY! This is a HUGE win for Canadians as not only does this prevent us from being arbitrarily charged for exercising our right to freedom of speech and public assembly and association protected under the Bill of Rights, but these arguments are INCLUDED in his case law!
