Runs 2:45 | Dec. 26, 1993 - Detroit defeated the Bears, 20-14, in Chicago. The victory, coupled with New Orleans' loss to Philadelphia, guarantees Detroit a spot in the playoffs. The Lions' offensive front controlled the line of scrimmage for Detroit by not allowing a quarterback sack and paving the way for RB Eric Lynch's 85 yards rushing on 22 carries. Lynch, who received his first NFL start in place of injured running backs Barry Sanders and Derrick Moore, also led the Lions in receiving with seven receptions for 46 yards. QB Erik Kramer played nearly flawless football, throwing for two touchdowns and 223 yards on 23-of-31 passing. Kramer's second TD toss, a one-yard scoring strike to TE Ty Hallock, culminated an 80-yard drive that gave Detroit with a six-point margin with just over three minutes to play.
