Steamboat Willie Mickey Mouse is OFFICIALLY Public Domain! What Does This Mean For Disney?

Mickey Mouse has hit the public domain running. Steamboat Willie, the first animation to launch the Walt Disney corporation is now free use for the world to use and they did exactly what you thought they would with him. Horror films, cheap video games and all around vandalism without artistic merit. @TheRageaholic was 100% correct with his assessment of the Public Domain... it is a whole ass.

But hey, the original Peter Pan story is now public domain as well. Nothing depraved could be happening with that, right?
