Star Wars is SAVED! Disney FINALLY Put a WOMAN in Charge of the New Rey Movie!

The Director for the next Star Wars movie, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, is very thankful for her opportunity to reintroduce Rey Palpatine/Skywalker to the fandom.

Just kidding, she is excited to bring the franchise down even further by making outlandish claims. During a CNN interview on New Year's Eve, the Academy Award winning feminist documentarian said first and foremost, "it’s about time that we had a woman come forward to shape a story in a galaxy far, far away."

As if a new Rey Movie in 2026 wasn't enough of a turn off, there is additional fodder. How can she respect the history of the franchise when she can't even handle real world history. Kathleen Kennedy, anyone?
