South Korea’s top opposition leader Lee Jae-Myung was stabbed in the neck while talking to reporters in the southern city of Busan. A man from the crowd, who reportedly approached Lee for an autograph, struck a knife through his neck. Lee was airlifted after being left bloodied in the attack with doctors fearing additional bleeding. South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol expressed “deep concern” over the incident, and called for swift investigation.
