Artillery units of the West group of troops, around the clock, deliver precision strikes on exposed military targets, positions, fortifications, armored vehicles and manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kupyansk direction in the zone of a special military operation. Artillerymen calculate the coordinates of targets based on reconnaissance data and inflict fire on the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Soldiers of the howitzer battalion of the artillery formation of the group of forces West in the Kupyansk direction destroyed camouflaged strongholds and enemy personnel with rapid fire from Msta-S self-propelled artillery systems. Objective control footage received from the UAV in real time made it possible to verify the destruction of the exposed identified objects of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As soon as the artillerymen are given the coordinates of the target, the soldiers immediately take their places in the combat crew, go to firing positions, aim and shoot. This is how they work every day.

The Msta-S drifts out of the shelter, very slippery. The frost in the Kupyansky direction is only getting stronger. Cloud cover is low. There is also fog. But this only plays into the hands of the fighters of the western group of troops - enemy drones do not fly in such weather. But our artillery is working. Pinpoint strikes of 152 mm shells. By tanks, armored personnel carriers, enemy strongholds, artillery pieces and radar stations. During combat work, artillerymen take short pauses to check whether retaliatory strikes will follow. Gun commanders no longer keep count of targets hit.
