Search and rescue team specialists on a helicopter Mi-8PSG perform combat missions

Specialists of the search and rescue group of the Aerospace Forces perform combat missions in the Krasny Liman direction. As part of a special military operation, they provide daily support to the crews of attack and army aviation.

This unit includes a fire support group as well as a medical worker. Its main tasks are continuous monitoring of the situation, evacuation and rescue of pilots, and their transportation to a military medical facility.
