Will there be tit-for-tat should Trump win the presidency?

OPINION: there's no doubt Tit-for tat politics will bring our country down to third world banana republic status but is tit-for-tat necessary to stop democrats and their decade long jihad against Donald Trump? Democrats see everything in terms of power, when they have it, they use it and when they don't, they get it at all costs. I think the only way this political lawfare against anything Trump stops is when power is used against them and democrats suffer real tangible political losses. An eye for an eye type of politics but Republicans must refrain themselves from going too far and only hold those people accountable that were complicit in the decade long weaponization of are rule of law, our intel agencies and our intel judicial system. Once those responsible are held accountable then democrats will be too afraid to continue doing what they've been doing ever since Trump announced he was running for president.
