Hello, Visual News viewers. This is Olivia Lane, and we bring you a local update from Mount Hope. The newly sworn-in Supervisor, Paul Rickard, expressed his eagerness to implement the changes he promised during his nine-month-long campaign.
Transparency is a top priority for Rickard, and he aims to deliver on this commitment from day one. Moving forward, town board agendas will be posted online every Friday for Monday meetings, with minimal last-minute changes, except for emergencies.
One of Rickard's immediate goals is to draft an ethics law within the first month of his term. "We are going to hit the ground running tomorrow and start a new day," said Rickard after being sworn in by County Executive Steve Neuhaus on December 31.
