Runs 2:09 | Oct. 25, 1992 - The Lions shot out of the gate early, scoring touchdowns on their first three possessions, enroute to their largest regular season victory ever under coach Wayne Fontes, 38-7. The offensive explosion was keyed by the offensive line, which did not yield a sack against the hard-charging Buccaneers and opened running room for Barry Sanders. Detroit took a 24-7 halftime advantage on the final play of the first half on Jason Hanson's 27-yard field goal; The short kick was set up as Mel Gray returned the kickoff 89 yards to the Bucs' four-yard line. The second half was similar to the first as Detroit scored two more TDs while holding Tampa Bay scoreless. In the third quarter, Sanders broke free for a 55-yard TD sprint, the second-longest run of his career. Brett Perriman closed out the scoring on a four-yard TD reception, Peete's third TD pass of the afternoon, upping the final tally to 38-7.
