Cozy Winter Night Routine: Skincare, Holiday Gatherings, Hot Cocoa & Lasagna Recipe!

Happy New Year!! In today's video, I am enjoying homemade hot chocolate, showing you a minimal evening skin care routine plus making a double batch of lasagna for a family gathering!

Hot Chocolate Recipe:
6 tablespoons powdered sugar
6 tablespoons powdered milk
2 tablespoons powdered cocoa
6 tablespoons powdered creamer
2 tablespoons chocolate chips
Mini Marshmallows
Candy Cane

Combine all of the ingredients into a glass jar with lid. Top with marshmallows and for a minty addition of flavor, stir the hot chocolate with the candy cane.

Lasagna Recipe (need to double the ingredients below to make the large pan you watched in video)
1 lb ground beef
1 jar of Traditional Prego
1 (15 ounce) carton ricotta cheese
1 egg
1 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese
3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 box of lasagna noodles

Boil noodles as directed (about 10-11 minutes). Remove from heat immediately and run cold water into pan so noodles won't overcook. Set aside.
While noodles are cooking, brown ground beef in large saucepan, drain grease, place in a bowl and mix in the Prego sauce combining the meat and sauce thoroughly. Set aside.
Combine the egg, ricotta cheese and 1/4 cup of the parmesan in a bowl stirring until the mixture is smooth with no lumps.
Spread about 1/4 cup meat sauce in bottom of lasagna pan then begin building the lasagna by layering in this order:
Noodles, meat sauce, ricotta cheese mixture, a sprinkling of parmesan, mozzarella cheese.
Repeat until all ingredients are used in the layering process finishing up with a generous topping of the mozzarella cheese.
Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes, uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden brown and sides are bubbly.
Remove from oven and let stand 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!!
