Epic 80s Riffs Volume 4 - Dr. Feelgood
Mick Mars is usually one of the last guys think of when they think 80s shredders, but he is as solid as any of them and writes amazing riffs and solos, which I think carried Motley through their career. Here is one of his best. All tracks were recorded using the same guitar, patch and gear. The production on Dr. Feelgood is one of the best of the era, the side tracks of Mick playing the dives and harmonics builds this up so well.
Instead of just playing the riff, I put together a drum track and bass, and recorded all the tracks heard, in stereo. I'm a poor producer but having the drum, and bass really make this riff shine.
