Storm Shield Forecast mid-day update 12/19/17

Our sunny and stable weather pattern continues for one more day, with a high of 68 degrees in Bakersfield with moderate air quality, just like yesterday. There is no wood burning permitted unless you have a registered device. The Kern River Valley will top out in the low 60s today with the upper 50s in the south mountains of Tehachapi and Frazier Park. The Kern Desert will be in a range of 60s and we'll all see slowly increasing high, thin clouds this afternoon.
