What to do if your a single mother with a son and don’t know how to raise him to be a man

Having a son is a blessing, and it’s a shame that it didn’t work out with the father of the of your child. Whether it was for good reasons or for bad reasons. Your son is going to always wonder why his father didn’t try to physically or emotionally be here for him.

For children don’t take advice, they follow examples. As his mother you will now need to surround your son with positive role models him. Whether they come from the church, the schools, the construction industry, the community as leaders, it’s now your job to find ways in which your son can get an opportunity to see how a real man operates.

What you don’t want is for him to go and find the gangsters, the drug dealers and the rappers. He will need street smarts but there are less dangerous ways to get them. Like for example from the street hustlers because he will at least learn a skill which is how to sell. This is a very good and learnable skill.
