The City of Kalamazoo is helping people get rid of their Christmas trees

The city's trees-into-mulch collection started on Friday and is running through January 31st.. People can drop off their trees in the parking lot at 322 East Stockbridge. Any lights, ornaments, and garlands need to be removed first. The trees will be chopped and turned into mulch to support new growth.
