The Brutal Viking Christening of Norway

The Christening of Norway was a slow but brutal affair. Norwegians have always been fiercely independent and didn’t like that the old Norse God’s and temples were being burnt down.
The first king who tried to convert the Norwegians had to repent in front of Pagan God’s and symbols, wowing to never try again and was forced to worship his God in private.
But the following Christian King’s would not make the same mistake and brutally forced people to be baptized or they would be killed.
This is the story of the brutal Viking Christening of Norway.
